TAEKWONDO

World Taekwondo (WT) — the Olympic martial art. Build kicking technique, discipline, and belt progression in a structured, fun, and empowering environment.

THE OLYMPIC MARTIAL ART

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art and the world's most widely practiced martial art, with over 80 million practitioners in 210 countries. It is the only martial art to be included in the Olympic Games.

At Champs Academy, we teach World Taekwondo (WT) — the Olympic style. Our curriculum is structured around belt progression, technical skill development, and the core tenets of Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit.

BENEFITS FOR YOUR CHILD

Taekwondo is one of the most complete martial arts for child development — physically, mentally, and socially.

🎯

FOCUS & ATTENTION

The structured nature of TKD training directly improves a child's ability to focus and follow instructions — skills that transfer directly to school.

💪

PHYSICAL FITNESS

Flexibility, coordination, strength, and cardiovascular fitness — TKD develops the whole body in a fun and engaging way.

🏆

BELT PROGRESSION

The belt system gives children clear, achievable goals. Each promotion builds confidence and teaches them that hard work pays off.

🛡️

SELF-DEFENCE

Children learn real self-defence skills in a safe environment, giving parents peace of mind and children the confidence to handle difficult situations.

🤝

RESPECT & DISCIPLINE

Bowing, listening to instructors, and respecting training partners — TKD instills a deep sense of respect and self-discipline.

🌟

CONFIDENCE

As skills develop and belts are earned, children naturally become more confident — in the dojo and in everyday life.

THE BELT SYSTEM

Our structured belt curriculum gives students clear milestones to work toward. Each belt represents a new level of skill, knowledge, and character development.
